Welcome to Studio Kayan LLC. These Terms of Use govern the use of our mobile applications, our website, and the services offered by Studio Kayan. By downloading or using any of our applications, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Who we are

Studio Kayan LLC is an independent studio that develops mobile applications for learning, education, productivity, and other digital uses.

2. Using our applications

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our applications for personal, non-commercial use.

In particular, you agree not to:

use our services for fraudulent or illegal purposes;
circumvent any security measures in place;
interfere with the normal operation of our services.

3. Intellectual property

All applications developed by Studio Kayan, including their code, design, illustrations, icons, visual identity, and original content, are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Some applications may also use content belonging to partners or third-party rights holders with their authorization.

Unless stated otherwise, no content may be reproduced, distributed, or reused without prior authorization.

4. Availability of services

We do our best to keep our applications running smoothly.

However, we do not guarantee that they will be permanently available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

We may temporarily suspend a service to perform maintenance, improve a feature, or comply with a legal obligation.

5. Updates

We may release updates in order to:

improve features;
fix bugs;
strengthen security;
adapt our applications to new versions of operating systems.

6. In-app purchases

Some applications may offer in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ways to support Studio Kayan.

All payments are processed exclusively by Apple, Google, or any other relevant distribution platform. Studio Kayan never has access to your banking information.

In-app purchases are subject to the terms of use of the platform on which they are made.

7. Accuracy of content

We take great care in developing our applications and in the quality of their content.

Despite our efforts, some errors or inaccuracies may remain. If you notice one, we encourage you to report it to us so we can improve it.

8. Links to third-party services

Some applications may contain links to external sites or services.

When you leave a Studio Kayan application, the terms and policies of the relevant third-party service apply. Studio Kayan is not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our applications are provided "as is" and "as available".

Studio Kayan cannot be held liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use an application.

Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you are entitled to under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to you.

10. Termination

You may stop using our applications at any time by uninstalling them from your device.

We may interrupt or suspend all or part of a service where necessary for technical, legal, or security reasons.

11. Changes

We may amend these Terms to reflect changes in our services or in the law.

The last-updated date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, except where mandatory provisions of your country of residence apply otherwise.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

App-specific provisions

The following sections supplement these Terms for certain Studio Kayan applications. An application not listed below has no particular provision: the general terms above apply in full.

Arabe du Coran

Arabe du Coran is an educational application designed to facilitate learning Qur'anic Arabic vocabulary.

The educational content, audio pronunciations, and certain visual elements used in the application are used with the permission of their respective rights holders.

The application is entirely free. Users may, if they wish, voluntarily support Studio Kayan through in-app purchases offered within the application. These contributions are entirely optional and grant no advantage, extra feature, or exclusive content.

Bidaya

Bidaya is an educational application designed to accompany users as they discover or deepen their understanding of Islam through a progressive path.

The content offered in the application is provided for educational and spiritual purposes. It does not constitute personalized religious rulings, fatwas, or individual guidance. Users remain free to consult qualified individuals or competent institutions for any specific religious question.

Some Bidaya features may be accessible through a subscription or in-app purchases. Terms, included features, prices, and renewal conditions are presented directly in the application before any purchase. Subscriptions renew and can be managed or cancelled according to the rules of the app store used (Apple App Store, Google Play, or another compatible platform).

The personal tracking features offered by the application are intended for private use. They are provided to help the user organize their learning and practice, without guaranteeing any particular outcome. Any reminders, goals, or statistics displayed by the application are intended as support and should not be interpreted as religious obligations or evaluations of the user's practice.
